Hollywood superstar Charlize Theron will be coming Down Under for the Australian Grand Prix.
A spokesman for the event confirmed Theron will be coming along to the event in Melbourne on March 15.
The Oscar-winning star is coming along as a guest of LK group – property developers who have a number of Melbourne developments under way including the former Capitol Bakery site, the Capitol Grand in South Yarra.
The star is already the poster girl for the Capitol Grand on the property developer’s website, pictured alongside photographs of the luxury residential/office/retail development.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will also be attending the event as a guest of the Grand Prix.
Theron brings the added star power of having a Hollywood heavyweight boyfriend, Sean Penn.
The actor hasn’t been confirmed as an attendee yet, but the two are frequently pictured together, suggesting he won’t miss this opportunity to soak up some of the Melbourne festivities with his partner.
Theron was in Australia in 2013 to film some scenes for George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, which is due for release later this year.
