The Oscar-winning actress was in town to sit trackside at the event as part of her role as the face of $500 million development Capitol Grand at South Yarra.
All eyes were on Theron when she stepped out in an all-white ensemble consisting of a tailored blazer, dress pants and crisp shirt accented by black stiletto heels and a bold red lip.
While neither her engagement ring nor her star fiance Sean Penn appeared to have tagged along for the visit, the blonde still sparkled in a series of fine diamond jewellery pieces.
Theron flew into Australia on Saturday after accompanying Penn to the premiere of his new movie The Gunman on Thursday.
With only a carry-on bag in tow, it looks like her visit may be short and sweet.
